Cuiesses are the armour which protects the thighs. This particular style is based off of the Dos Augas suit which was made in 1550-1575 in Valencia, Spain. A fantastic advantage of this style is the flexibility a the upper thigh, when drawing the leg up the thigh collapses for greater range of motion and comfort in even the most comopressed positions. With strapping at the thigh, knee, and below the knee and suspended from the belt these cuisses feel very comfortable and in a short while you will forget you even have them on.
