The Pexto 901 Beak Horn Stake is the largest of the forming stakes and great for working and refining sheet metal. Its long, flat working surface with an undercut combined with a rounded beak makes it useful for forming, smoothing, planishing, and developing both broad surfaces and controlled radii in a wide range of metalworking applications.
 
Pexto stakes are the same tools I have personally relied on throughout my career. I have used these same stakes for more than 25 years with some of the stakes I own being over 100 years old and still being used every day. They have proven themselves to be exceptionally useful tools that will remain in service for generations.
 
The 901 is a particularly substantial stake, making it well suited to larger sheet-metal work where its long working surface and rounded beak can be put to use. For armourers, the long flat undercut section and rounded beak are useful when developing large curved and compound surfaces, but its usefulness extends well beyond armour making. This stake can be used for everything from traditional sheet-metal work and automotive restoration to architectural metalwork, fabrication, and other forming applications.
