Spangenhelms would have been used in and around the 6th century and forward up into the 13th century in one form or another. Each of these spangenhelms are hand formed from scratch and each rivet hand set and peined at our workshop in South Texas.

These helmets can have real deerskin leather liners, padding, or both added for comfort and adjustability.
