This Victorian period armour set comprises a breastplate, backplate, and a complete pair of articulated arms, including pauldrons, rotators, elbow cops, and vambraces.
A  gorget crafted by Azure Armoury will be included when the complete lot is purchased.
 
The breastplate and backplate are well made and remain the strongest elements of the ensemble, displaying the characteristic form associated with Victorian interpretations of historical armour. The articulated arm defences complement the set, however the fauld lames are later replacements and are not original to the ensemble.
 
The armour shows signs of age consistent with its history and is offered as a collector's piece.  While the armour could be worn if desired, this is really intended as a fine decorative piece to add a bit of history to a home or office.
